ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Matt Ballard was born in Windsor, Ontario in 1972.  He started writing when he was a small child and has been doing so ever since.

Diary of a Nerd King and the adventures of Max Ridgemont chronicled within are often loosely based (and sometimes not so loosely) on Matt's own childhood.

Matt enjoys doing the illustrations for Diary of a Nerd King, but he is nowhere near as good an artist as Max, who is a wicked awesome artist as you can clearly see. 

Matt is currently working on the next book of Max's adventures which will be released as weekly or bi-weekly episodes, just like a TV show or like serialized stories one used to find in magazines or newspapers.
